Cell phones can shoot great video these days. In fact, a lot of content is being produced online with cell phones. They can shoot 4K with various frame rates.
But we wanted to show you what a cell phone can’t do. If you’re shooting something and you want to get a really tight shot, a cell phone won’t work unless you’re really close to the subject matter. And I want to show you that difference.
Right now we’re shooting this video with our professional camera with a Zoom lens. You can see I’m crisp and clear. Next to our camera is a cell phone. And he’s trying to get in just as tight on me with his cell phone. You can see he can’t get as tight and I’m not crisp and clear.
So if you’re shooting in a manufacturing facility, a sports field, or someplace where you physically can’t get close to the subject, you need to ditch the cell phone and pick up the camera.
