In today’s tips, we’re answering the question: How long should your videos be? Well, it depends on a few things.
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, so watch as we give you the scoop!
There are very few instances where a video has to be a very specific link, such as broadcast commercials– 30 seconds, 15 seconds, and not a second over. Same with online ads, 6 seconds or 20 seconds. But for everything else, it varies. You want to let the story play out. We were creating a video for a gala and we thought it was going to be 3 or 4 minutes long.
But the story was so great, the video ended up being 5 and 1/2 minutes. But watching it, it felt like three. Even for our Thursday Tips, some weeks are longer and some weeks are shorter. So don’t stress about the length, let the story dictate it.
